Just how hard are AP level classes in relative comparison to "normal" classes?

I haven't taken any AP level courses yet, and as a junior next year, I've elected to take 4 of them at the same time.
Coincidentally, they happen to be: AP BC Calc, APUSH, the new AP Physics 1, and AP Chem.
I consider myself decently talented in the mathematics and sciences, and I've had As in those courses so far.
However, I've heard horrible stories about BC Calc and AP Chem, and countless all-nighters for APUSH.
Are those AP courses really that hard? I know there are "easy" AP courses, but I'm not taking AP Psych or APES next year...

Also, I go to a well-off school that makes you actually work and study to maintain grades; seeing as I have not taken a single AP course yet, how hard would it relatively be to take 4 of them at the same time full-year next year?

Thanks!

I think you’ll be all right. They’re not that much harder than normal college classes, and you’ll be taking a lot of those in a few years.

It really depends on the teacher in the AP classes.

Ask students at your school that have taken the AP classes you want to take (and who had the same teacher, if there are different teachers)

-Ignore this post-

AP classes are usually just more rigorous and more in depth than their honors counterparts. I haven’t taken any of the classes you’re planning to take yet.

Depends.
On.
Teacher.
