Just mailed in confirmation check, feeling anxiety

Last week I visited Goucher College for the second and final time. Two days later I left feeling pretty good about the place, and this morning I mailed $600 check confirming my attendance next fall. But now I'm starting to feel a little anxious. What if I'm not happy there for the next four years? That's the question I keep asking myself. Is it normal to feel this way?

What if I’m not happy there for the next four years?

Then you’re stuck there! jk If you hate it, then transfer out. LOL It’s not a marriage.

It’s absolutely normal; it’s called “buyer’s remorse” and it happens after or around nearly every big decision in life. Try to focus on the great things about your school, and don’t expect perfection.

You like the school, and you KNOW you like the school-that’s why you paid the check. What you’re feeling is normal. Just keep reminding yourself of the wonderful reasons that you chose the school, and don’t go in thinking that everything will be perfect. Basically, exactly what midwesterner said!

Void the check and go to your #2 choice…Or not.
Your gut is telling you something…Or not.
Well, Mr. Scoot, you’ll let your friends at CC know if you made the right choice, okay?
