I registered for SAT II Math LV2 and for Physics for May and plan to take SAT I in June (not registered yet). What do you recommend I do now? My AP exams for Physics B and Calc AB are in May right after the weekend of the SAT tests.

Friend told me it's a disadvantage this way, and that I should've applied for SAT I for May and the 2 Subject Tests for June instead, so then after taking the AP exams, I'd be more prepared for the Subjects (which you only get one try on), whereas, they said it's better to take the SAT in May since I'd still have 2 more tries to take in Oct/Nov then.

How bad is it? Am I just gona have to study hardcore from now until the Subject Tests? What are the advantages of this current situation?

Too late to reconsider it. Already registered and don't wana pay fee for changing anything.

The best time to take the SAT II exams is close to the end of the HS course that is most closely related to that subject matter. So your timing for those two exams makes sense. Prepping for the SAT Physics and Math and prepping for the AP exams can go hand in hand.

Where do you get the notion that you can take the subject exams only one time? As long as you are willing to shell out the test fees, ETS will let you repeat them.

Oh, I got reduced lunch, so I’ve used my two waivers for the SAT II already.
I still got my two for the SAT I, so I’ll take one for June and the other for October or November. (Now that I check again, I only get 2 waivers for SAT II and 2 for SAT I, not 3 for SAT I).

I guess when my friend told me the SAT II is one try each, I guess he meant as in for free. btw what’s ETS?

ETS = educational testing service, which makes the subject tests, etc.

Thanks. By the way, I’m new to this forum. How do I view all my posts, and how should I learn all I need to know about everything for high school and college?
