just moved from PA

well, put it this way... i just moved about 3 months ago from PA to tallahassee, FL. currently im just 10 credits away from getting my AA this summer and should be able to apply for FSU for the fall. the problem that i have is that since moving here i dont know anyone and attempted to make some friends at TCC but come to find that fafsa decided to not pay for the classes i thought i needed and i didnt have to money to pay for it so dropped all but 1 class (calculus) and only have maybe 1 person i talk to from that class. im not in a great place where i live at (portofino villas) because its "ghetto" and cant stand it. so currently stuck at my apartment where i know noone to hang out with or socialize and i HATE having cabin fever.

now im curious about FSU because it seems like the place i would definatly fit in and reminds me of my older university i transfered from except maybe alittle more laid back. but i need someone to fill in the social part of me. ive never had a problem with social and parties until i went to the one PA university and it was was like walking on pins and needles(literally) and now TCC.

i would like to know which is best for a transfer student from PA and knows noone in FL. dorms or apartments? money doesnt matter to me just i want to be somewhere where i can be happy and meet people, some girls, and somewhere in the FSU vicinity. details would be appriciated :-)

Well Im from PA and just got accepted and I am going to use the dorms because i think you will eventually get to know the people in your hall. Plus they have socials sometimes.

Dorms hands down dude. Especially in your situation, dorms will help ease that “zomg what do i do today” feeling. If you do get a dorm, it might be smith if you haven’t applied yet.

Smith is where you will see the great satscholar, and numerous other celebs.

=D

lol oh celebrities =p
