Just one little thing before March 26

So this unusual situation made me think is this a good sign.

I do the IB Programme and I sent them my predicted results for their testing requirement. A few weeks ago they contacted me and told me they can't accept the predicted results and I should send them SAT's. I took only two SAT subject tests (French and World History) and they said that it's ok and they'll waive the testing requirement in my case but I just have to send them French and WH results.

What do you think? Are they just being nice a la "oh let's not decline her immediately when she sent in the whole application" or i means i stand a chance?

I think there is no way to know your whole situation from what you have posted, however you have nothing to lose by sending them whatever they want.

Good luck!

I did send them. Ok tnx, I just remeberd this thingy a few days ago and as Im obnoxious for this week, i might have overreacted over this fact. i’ll just wait for friday  fingers crossed :)

Does anyone know what time the results are released? and do we need to log into our myhamilton accounts to find out?

After 8:00 pm Friday March 26th in the Hamilton web portal

Is Hamilton among your first choices?

lulu, I would imagine that Hamilton would be close to the top of most applicants’ first choices

Proabably, it is pretty high on mine. I mean, Bard is my top choice and then the other schools will depend on FA.

Hey. Hamilton actually does not require applicants to take the SAT. They just want 3 subscores. Copied it from their website:

Three exams of your choice, which must include a quantitative test, a verbal or writing test, and a third test of student’s choice. The following tests satisfy Hamilton’s quantitative and verbal/writing requirements:

Acceptable Quantitative Tests: SAT Math; SAT Subject Tests in Math, Chemistry, or Physics; AP Computer Science, Chemistry, Economics, Math, or Physics; IB final exam results for Chemistry, Computing Studies, Economics, Math, Physics, or Physical and Chemical Systems

Acceptable Verbal/Writing Tests: SAT Critical Reading; SAT Writing; ACT Writing; AP English Language and Composition; IB final exam results for Language (A1, A2, or B English); TOEFL Exam (for International students ONLY)

I know but they want applicants to send some kind of testing and I only had 2 SAT’s and the IELTS. I guess we’ll see in a few hours whether it was a good sign or they were just being nice :)
