Political science.. I love English, history, and international affairs.

applied math or biological engineering

government

Finance with a double major in marketing, econ, or psychology

Major: English
Minor: Philosophy or History. Leaning towards Philosophy.

Why? I love English. I am good at writing. I am very interested in the spoken and written word. I am also interested in Philosophy and it teaches you how to think analytically, which is very valuable.

What do I plan to do with my degree? Go onto law school and go into either Environmental Law or Public Interest Law.

Many people have asked me that question and i have asked myself that question too

what do i want to major in?

still haven't got an answer yet, but it seems like i am interested in everything, lol

I can speak manderian, english, cantonese fluently, and i am taking french as foreign language now

I have a great interest on photo, painting, and graphic/ digital art ( I spend a huge time on art when I am not studying for Aps)

I like politic science, and history

I also like adventures and discoveries in science field

Well, I dont know which field is my favorite yet, but sure I would like to work on a field that will help me find the meaning of life

I want to major in economics with a minor in accounting or finance (double minor perhaps ;)......i want to go to grad school at an ivy and get a masters of some sorts and hopefully hook up with an alumni network to get me somewhere in life......its not about the school......its about the connections that u make at those elite schools that will open doors for u...i want to be that guy in his late 20's as a financial economist working for the fed and giving a speech on the state of the conomy on cspan :D....what can i say......macro theory is my passion!!!!!!! I LOVEEEEE IT!!!!!!!! micro is a different story hehe gags

Interesting. I'm actually myself unsure of what I'd like to major in, but I'm thinking along the lines of physics/chem or physics/bio. Not sure of the exact career yet though.

I'm planning to double major
1. Finance or Economics AND
2. Political Science or International business

Few reasons:
1. Those majors have nothing to do with science.
2. I hate, despise, detest, and abhor science.
3. I'm pretty politically active, and I'm interested in the stock market.
4. I plan to become a trader, then eventually break into Venture Capital or Hedge Funds.
5. I plan to get my MBA in finance.
6. Robots can't replace Venture Capitalists as it requires skills other than numbercrunching...(ie. independent thinking/discretionary skills-robots lack discretion)
7. The money is insanely good. ($400k+ with MBA, $120k with BS/BA)
8. The work is interesting/exciting. There' a certain adrenaline rush when a company you invested in (and therefore have stock for) triples in stock and you're suddenly a millionaire.
9. I love politics. I love the stock market.
10. Other options....hm....Med/engineering/science...I hate science, and severely overrated...Law...that requires 7 years of school before I make money...liberal arts...I wouldn't know what to do with this degree.
11. Because I can. Because my mom doesn't want me to.
12. Because finance is competitive/fast paced. I'd fit right in.
13. Because i don't have the patience to go to law/med school.

Beginning next year, I'm an International Studies major at UCSD, with emphases in sociology and history.

I'd like to work for a nonprofit like UNICEF, and focus primarily on global relief efforts and the protection of human rights.

I love languages, history, and English more than anything. I absolutely detest math. My AP scores reflect these preferences. :) So there you go.

"1. Those majors have nothing to do with science.
2. I hate, despise, detest, and abhor science."

hehe... sorry, just thought that was funny.

Major: Political Science or International Relations/Studies/Affairs
Minor: Theater or an inner-disicpline minor

Reasoning: I'm pretty much obsessed with politics. Also love foreign affairs. I would like to some day work in the State Department or the UN. Also, going along with whoever said this, it has nothing to do with science, and that's always a plus.
