Just parked my car at my Atlanta hotel & the car next to me is an official UA car

It’s one of the those white sedans with the red The University of Alabama words written on the door.

When I first saw it, it didn’t click that I shouldn’t be seeing a UA car here, but then I did a double-take. Wonder who is here and why. lol

They’re going to think you’re stalking them.

Seriously, though, I was walking downtown in my city, New Orleans, and I actually saw one of those official UA cars, too.

I guess if the cities are driving distance, they’ll drive rather than fly if they need to conduct university business there.

There was a Crimson Caravan event last night in Atlanta. The car could be related to the alumni event.

It could have been any number of things. Any qualifying student or employee conducting official university business is entitled to rent a university car from Fleet Services.

We met our GA area recruiter at a Starbucks when we first started checking out colleges for my D2, and he was in a UA car. We all walked to his car so he could give us another brochure re OOS scholarships, and the back of his car and trunk was full of UA brochures that fit most of the southeast states. So it probably is cheaper to drive than to fly, especially with all of his material.

DS attended a conference in Jacksonville, Florida with students and instructors from UA. The instructors drove the UA van.
