Just quick placement test clarification

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I looked through threads and couldn't find it. I also looked on the websites but didn't see it explicitly stated. Can you take a certain placement test more than once and have your highest score count? I still haven't taken any placement tests, and I'm worried I won't test out of the language requirement, which I'd really like to do. If I take the test this year and test into Intermediate II and then spend this summer reviewing, take the test again, and test out, will my highest score be the one that's counted? And does it work the same way with the math placement test? Sorry for asking such a simple question on here. Thanks.

For foreign language i know you can retake it (it’s offered like 2-3 times/semester) because I took it twice. The first time they placed me into Intermediate II Italian and the second I placed out of it entirely which was a relief. For Spanish, Italian, French and German, the placement test is the SAT II exam which is fairly easy.

for math, i’m not sure if they let you take it twice, but the math test is really easy
