Just realized a very very obvious mistake I made...

Hey guys,

So as we know, AP season is BACK and I took the first AP test of this year yesterday (Physics 1). I already felt depressed because I know I got a 1 or a 2 at best on it. But that’s not what I’m here for and no, it’s not the “very very obvious mistake I made” lol.

So you know we have to physically move the sticker on the Multiple Choice onto the answer document right? But at first, I thought there had to be a package of stickers INSIDE the packets but I couldn’t find them until at the very end, I realized that you could ACTUALLY take the sticker off of the original test XD

Then I felt as if I solved the mystery on getting a 2 on the Human Geography AP test last year (my very first AP exam). I’m almost certain I didn’t transfer my sticker to the answer document, making sense that I got a 2 based off of JUST my FRQs… I was well prepared for the class and I felt the test wasn’t all too bad so a 2 was quite shocking for me as I expected a 4 or even a 5. Soooo… Is there any way I can regrade the multiple choice part? I know there’s one that you can pay $30 and have them grade it by hand but is it reliable? Any other methods? Or did I ACTUALLY get a 2 and will waste money by doing so? Thank you guys!

Anyone have an idea?

Even with the sticker not on the package correctly, they will still be able to grade your test. It just may have been delayed or done slower, because your name is written on it or other information elsewhere included. If you really want them to regrade it, I would. But also check which college you want to go to and their credit policies, to see if it’s really worth it.

I kinda think that they might’ve not graded because after they scan it, they could’ve noticed missing information and I doubt they would go back and hand-grade it just for me tbh. Also, I’ve heard of multiple worst-case scenario stories here where they got a 2 because one part (either FRQ or MC) didn’t get implemented correctly to the final score and they got it regraded to have a change from a 2-5.

I know it’s just Human Geography but it still is painful to see a 2 as my records and my first AP test… But thank you for the input!
