Just realized I need Math 2C... how do I study?

Hey I took pre-calculus honors last year and aced through the whole class, but after my summer I remember NOTHING.

Am I safe to sign up for the October 8th SAT IIs or do I need time to study until November?"

What books do I get to hit the nice 800 mark?

Thanks

What textbook did you use in your pre-calculs honors class? If you remember the title and author, that would be helpful. I am planning to take the 2c in May along with my Physics.

I used "Precalculus with Limits: A Graphics Approach" by Larson, Hostetler, and Edwards

old book i think

Any study guides I can get.. I know there are a bunch but which is the best for math 2c?

For 2c I would say Barron's. I've heard many people saying its difficulty will OVERPREPARE you for the test. So theres more chances that you will score a perfect 800.

What about that REAL SAT IIs book? That any good for 2c?

there's only one math IIC test in that

IIC is more of a knowledge based test.. so prepping on harder material shouldn't be a problem

I used that text book also, and then prepared with PR, and got an 800.

I used Barron's after a year of precalc and nothing else. 800.

Is that book [PreCalculus with Limits: A Graphing Approach] easy to read and understand? I am only taking Alg 2 this coming Junior Year. So is it easy to self-study? What do you think?

Get the Prentice Hall Precalculus book by Michael Sullivan. I thought it was a good book...
