Just realized that I made a MISTAKE on the application, please help!!

Okay, so I just finished filling out FAFSA and during the process, I just realized that the legal name I used differs from that of my government IDs. At my community college, my name had a space in my first name on the record, so I used that on the UC application. But while doing FAFSA, I realized that my name on my government IDs does not have a space, and I had to use that name without the space in order for everything to match.

Am I in big trouble? What should I do? I am literally panicking right now. Thank you

Call or email them about it and they’ll fix it.

Would I need to notify each individual UC i’ve applied to or is there one place to call to let all the UCs I’ve applied to know?

Call or email the UC Application Center.

ucinfo@applyucsupport.net or (800) 207-1710 (within U.S.) or (661) 336-5723 (outside U.S.). This info is on the UC app website.

Yeah, just give them a call and you’ll be fine. Shouldn’t be a problem.
