@colboy… we call everyone who was accepted but it’s done in batches over a period of a few days so you should receive a call soon

@Yunie…your cousin might be getting paid but the rest of us do not get paid to do phone banking…we volunteer because we want to welcome new students and let them know they will be receiving an amazing education at Berkeley… GO BEARS!!

I wonder if everyone gets this call…I already submitted my SIR and no call. Or I missed it LOL sometimes I have this thing about being too lazy to answer my phone =o

I actually got paid because I wasn’t supposed to be doing it in the first place, I took my friend’s spot since she was sick. I didn’t make her pay me though. (she’s just taking me to lunch next week…)

@ petite: Wait, I’ve never heard of that! lol sounds cool. I’d be down for doing an overnight stay at Berkeley. Let me know if you hear anything more about it!

Oh i know! she said they would email me the details about the event… and i’ve been checking it frantically since last night! i’ll let you guys know for sure if i get anything.

bridges Transfer Coordinators*

I won’t be able to make it due to classes because of the events running from tuesday to thursday. If you do end up going, please tell us all about it!

@ drwatson: Thank you so much for posting this! I would absolutely go if I didn’t have classes. Unfortunately, having finals the following week, it wouldn’t be wise for me to go. I would have loved to, but it won’t work with my schedule :(.

I hope somebody can go and tell us about it lol.

i got a voicemail left from a girl. it was long, i ended up hanging up on the voice mail beacuse it was too long she sounded really nice though. how nice of UCB :D

I got one last night while I was in a volunteer meeting. Dang. I’m excited that they’re having a meeting in Costa Mesa, though, that’s a lot closer to me then Cal is.

I think that it is so amazing that Berkeley actually calls the students like this and fields questions. I received my call last night, and while I was asking her questions my admissions officer was actually standing next to her and he picked up the phone and answered a few more questions for me.

I love Berkeley, and after last night I am more convinced than ever.
