Just received a failing grade, should I still send SIR?

Hi,

I had been admitted to Merced and Riverside, but I just got my grades for my spring semester which ended last week, and I got a D in physics, B in the other two classes. The deadline to SIR is tomorrow, so my question is do I notify the two UCs about this and not SIR, or can I SIR to both, or pick only one to SIR to. I really am lost on what to do any advice would tremendously helpful, thank you!

Was the D in physics in a major or IGETC class?

Were you going to SIR to one over the other in the first place?

My major is in computer science, and Riverside required a passing grade specifically for this physics class, but Merced just states no D/F grades in any courses. I would prefer Riverside to Merced, but would be happy to go anywhere that can accept me. Thank you for responding!

You must have known this was coming a while ago. You should have contacted them then. I doubt anyone will give you an answer tomorrow, if you call. It sounds like you should SIR Merced and hopefully they will let you retake in summer.

I hate to say this a second time in 24 hours, but you could SIR to both, then contact Riverside and hopefully they give you an answer in a day or two, and then go from there.
