I just took the SAT for the second time in January. I almost laughed because I got the exact same score as my first SAT, which is a 2210.
Here are the changes:

Critical Reading:
740 in October SAT, 770 in January

Math
670 in October, 680 in January

Writing
800 in October, 760 in January

I am at a loss. I want my SAT score to be good enough for Ivy League standards, like Columbia or Brown. Should I retake the SAT in March?

Most colleges superscore.

So your superscore is 2250, which makes you competitive at all colleges. 2210 is good enough too.

If you have too much free time in hand, yeah sure, retake it.

My understanding from what my daughter’s college counselor had told her is that it is desirable to get over 700 in each section to be competitive. It might be worth trying to get over 700 in the math section but you are very close with the 680. This time you should just concentrate on the math prep. Will you be doing a math subject test?

Yes I’m planning on taking Math SAT II. If I get a good grade on it, will it somehow boost my potential and make up for the lower math score on the SAT I?
