Just sent everything in.

What do you guys think of my chances?

GPA is a 3.4 unweighted and a 3.7 weighted
ACT Score is a 25
I will have taken 9 AP's and 7 honors classes by end of HS
Great EC's
Great Recommendation Letter

Bump guys?

Yanksman, I would say you're in. Your gpa is fine at 3.4 and they like a 25 or higher on the ACT's. You've taken plenty of AP/honor classes and have great EC's. Yep, I'd say you're in.

Thanks dude, also. I spoke to an admisions rep. and they said that it was alright that I sent my current act score (25) and write them a note saying that I am re-taking this Saturday. If I do better, I can send them in as well. Now, the main point is that if they can make a decision based on my current scores they will, if not, they will NOT reject me until they get my new scores and then will make a better judgement. So sweet.

One more thing, about how long until you get a decision back?

Yanksman, I'd say you're in.

Slugger, plan on at least 3 weeks from the time your file is complete. My son's file has been complete since Sept. 25 and he is still waiting for a decision. (They told him 3-5 weeks, so it should be soon)

Slugger, if you just sent your things in within the past three or four weeks, I would say you'll hear something back from them in about five or six weeks. Patience is the key.

And I'm a mom, not a dude....lol.

Oregonianmom, we were told 5 or 6 weeks from the time we sent it in, so I'm hoping our guy was wrong! ;-)

I just checked the pamphlet we were given, it says 3-5 weeks from when they get everything, hopefully sooner. My fault for the dude comment, I just usually say that when I'm ecstatic. Thanks again.

That's probably about the same timeframe because it takes our school two weeks to get the unofficial transcript, etc., to them.

No problem, Slugger, I've been called worse....lol.
