Just sent my sat scores... Should I be worried?

I just sent my sat scores (12/29) to NYU, Tulane, BU, George Washington, American, and North Eastern. I realize that my scores would be arriving to them after the application deadline and I am worried if that would affect my chances at all. I am also taking ED2 to NYU.

I know that NYU is fine with sat scores arriving a bit late but I am not sure about the other schools. I saw other posts that had similar problems but mine is really last minute and may have different outcomes.

Thanks in advance.

Late scores may have a negative impact or not. The only way to guarantee scores are taken into account is sending them to the school as early as possible. Whether you worry or not will not have an impact on whether your materials are reviewed. Relax and do better in the future.

It shouldn’t be too much of a hassle, although you should probably call the admissions office and check just in case.

I did the same thing to a few universities and called them to see if they would still accept my scores even though the application deadline passed, and they said it is fine.

All of them told me that the application deadline is only the deadline to submit the Common App and writing supplements, and additional materials can arrive after the deadline without any penalty (as long as they arrive within a week or two after the deadline).
