Hey guys! Well while looking at youtube videos, the middlebury website, and many different sources to get a look into middlebury with, I was just wondering how college life is like there. I was also wondering about the professors who teach econ (the major i'm interested in) or perhaps communications. From what I have seen and heard, Middlebury has very great and passionate professors. is this true (well in general of course)? I was also wondering about how life outside college is like there: the town, the shops, the restaurants, etc. and finally I was wondering if being a Korean Asian American would make it difficult for me to "fit in (not sure if that's the right word for it)" To elaborate on that, I know some schools out there are rather "unwanting" of minorities or different races other than the one that dominates at that school would this maybe be a case at this school? and more than anything I really want to find a college where I can enrich myself as a person and where I can learn all the things I want from a generally passionate professor and study among peers who aren't so ridiculously competitive (like at my highschool) but are generally very nice and genuine (hard to judge that but I think you get what i mean) people that also study hard. would this fit the description? and finally thanks for taking the time to read all this!

Short and to the point: My kid has never had a professor that he doesn’t really like and every class he’s taken. he’s loved. He’s taken two classes in the Econ dept but technically he is a science major. Point being I’ve never heard anything but glowing reviews.

He’s had some snags with the smallness, but truly loves what he’s learning and has made some great friends… Other than that I can’t really comment.
