just spent $240 on college applications

and i'm dying inside.

good lord.

sent 3 UCs and one to wake forest.

what about you guys? how much do you think you'll end up spending just on sending college apps?

Just sending college apps? I haven’t started counting. I rather stay ignorant.
But I have sent at least 400 dollars worth. I think when I calculated it in September, it was going to amount to ~900 dollars. That’s not counting score reports and other add ons.

This sucks.

I love only applying to two colleges…makes things so much easier :p

Spent at least $600. I can’t look, it’s too much!

ughhh i know :frowning: i’m jealous, asereph

$250 on 9 colleges? not bad…
stupid publics. Those charge the most money when applying…

$105 for two schools, plus $9 for act score report (other I sent when I tested) and I think around $10 for my transcripts.
if I get in to my top choice, it’ll be worth it. :)

$640
awesome.

i’ll be paying about $700 (12 colleges)… ughhh. :(

just wait until you have to actually pay for college

around 900, with application fee waivers for all… eek

about 900… >.>

Right after sending off 9 applications and paying the fees, my son received a mailing from a university research project that included certificates for 7 free college applications, including most of the colleges where he had just applied. It was too late to use them.

$525 for 7 schools, ehh.

$360 total in app fees for 8 schools. but with all my score reports, it all definitely added up.

hahaha so true

I’m spending more than 240 dollars just to get to ONE college’s interview. And i have spent and will spend much more than that applying to colleges.

Spend about 600+ for 10 apps, plus SAT score reports is another 100, so about 700+. Life sucks.

1500 by the end if I don’t get in where I want.
