Im currently a Aviation Science Student, I want to be a Pilot, and I want to do good in school, but i’m lacking motivation to even go to school. Any motivation I get, quickly gets destroyed. I just feel tired so much, any tips?
You may have a undiagnosed medical issue (ie. anemia) that is causing your fatigue. Feeling tired all the time can zap the strength and focus out of anyone. A simple blood test can rule out numerous issues, suggest you see your Dr. for a checkup.
That would explain my headaches, and lightheadedness. Thanks, Ill schedule an appointment with my doctor soon.
Don’t wait, go to the student health center today. You want to try to get this resolved so that you don’t fall far behind.
Could be allergies. What area of the country are you studying in ?
Hehe. This ^^^ is true. Seasonal allergies are an under-recognized cause of A LOT of lost productivity. The fatigue can be debilitating. Another possibility is you can be dehydrated. All your symptoms line up with dehydration. Drink 10 oz of water every waking hour and see if you feel better.
Also could be depression. Definitely see a physician soon.
Utah.
Thanks for the concern, I will be seeing a doctor asap.
Utah. It might be allergies, but i’ve never had anything this serious before.
Thanks, I don’t recall how much i’ve been drinking, but it likely isn’t as much as it should be. I’ll be drinking more.
I will, I have allot on my plate, but I will make time. Thanks.

Sorry for the double post, I don’t know what happen.
Honestly, you should take a hard look at your life and decide where you want to invest your time into because you’re never going to get it back. How much does this mean to you? Is it something you’d sacrifice personal time to achieve?
I remember going back to school after two years of being out because I believed strongly that I wanted to become a mechanical engineer. I put my life on hold basically; I stopped doing anything with my girlfriend most of the time and changed my work schedule around to support me going to school full-time. Right after work was over, I’d hit the books and this happened for five or six semesters. It was a very tough time to get through, but I dedicated myself to doing it.
It ultimately didn’t work out because I burned out. That’s what happens when you get older and have a family. Something has got to give. However, I remember I did the exact same thing in college the first time because I was transferring from a crappy community college to university and I only had enough money for two years. I was taking at least 19 credits a semester my last year and managed to get out on time. It’s because I believed I could do it, even though I had my doubts. I didn’t find all my classes all that interesting, probably a majority of them I simply just learned everything I could to get through them and get that degree and be on my way…but I did enjoy some of my classes along the way and although a majority of them were a snooze fest, I would put in the work and go into the library and study. You just gotta really think about what you want in life. I believe I am still reaping the rewards from that degree and the time I spent in getting it, even though my second time in college was a failure.
I’ve got a house and family now with a great paying job and am going back to school for a funded graduate degree.
I agree, first go to a doctor and make sure all is well. It could be something as simple as a vitamin deficiency, Lyme, or you could be coming down with Mono.
If everything is ok medically I think you should forget school, get a job and work. If you aren’t motivated, don’t go. Maybe after working a while you will appreciate and realize the opportunity before you.
How did the doctor say? If it’s depression. You have to know that you are not alone, depression is the most common health for college students.
