<p>Okay, I know, I know. Start looking in the winter.
I know that at this point, it's too late to look into camps, but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for online courses or shorter (around one week) day programs in Boston (last year I did SummerLab at BU and it was pretty good) with deadlines that have not yet passed.
I assume there are some other people in my situation, so any suggestions for opportunities to look into at this point in time would be greatly appreciated! I am particularly interested in something math or biology related.
I guess I'm worried that it will seem that I'm slacking during my summer as a rising junior. This summer, I've got community service at a nearby hospital and library, playing Certamen for my state team at the NJCL convention, and singing lessons (continuing from 8 years of learning).
I'm thinking of adding an AoPS AMC 12 class (narrowly missed AIME for past two years!), but does anyone have any other ideas?
Also, I'm thinking of doing Intel/Siemens science fair next year. Should I use the summer to get a head start on a good project?
Thanks all!</p>

<p>We’ve had experience with the Blueprint program at Stonehill. It was great and they have Forensic Science this year. [Blueprint</a> Signature Summer Programs](<a href=“http://bpsummerprograms.com/]Blueprint”>http://bpsummerprograms.com/)</p>
<p>How was Summerlab at BU?</p>
<p>It was pretty good. My experience there prepared me to do labs in AP Biology with ease, as the labs we did there were more complex and involved having to come up with your own ideas. The instructors are friendly, informed, and overall just great. There was one girl in my session who only spoke German, and the instructors took it upon themselves to find her someone in the lab who could translate for her so that she would get the same instruction we did. My only complaint is that the program could have been a bit more rigorous, as the first day we just learned how to use micropipettes and lab machinery.
I hear their Scholars program, during the school year for students who participated in SummerLab is phenomenal, but I was too busy to take part in it myself this year
Sounds like the kids who did go did some really cool stuff though.</p>
