If you're planning to transfer, but you're community college doesn't offer one class out the four or five lower division classes you have to take, what are you suppose to do? Are you suppose to take the lower division class when you transfer, or are you suppose to find a community college, csu, or uc near you to find that class and take it? Would it affect your admissions?

What do u mean lower division course? What is ur major? you need to fulfill all the requirement course before u transfer no matter how.

it is based on your community colleges course availability. If your CC doesnt offer the course you will have to take it once you transfer. They will not penalize you for what your CC does not have.

I wouldn't be so sure as to whether or not there will be a penalty, but it is suggested that all requirements are fulfilled. It is best to find another college that has the satisfying course.

my CC doesnt offer one of my pre-req... also but it aint matter..

Well... You're right, but that's only if you have a very strong GPA, EC, or essay. If your GPA is just average, then it's best to fulfill the requirements.

My friend wants to transfer to UCLA as a Computer Science and Engineering major, and one of the requirements for the major is the Physics series 201-203, but his school doesn't offer 203. Will this hurt him?
