I did not self-report any AP scores on my UC application in November and the only time I used my AP scores was to place into my Calc 1 class at CC. Do I still have to send my AP scores to Berkeley? I'd rather save 8 dollars. Thanks!

Bump .

I don’t know and I’m worrying about this, too! (I didn’t repor tand did BAD on the AP tests-as in 2 and 1. So. I’m not sending them in lol.)

Based on what my admission officer told me, if you received a score of 2 or lower, you will not be required to submit the AP exam report.

My admissions officer told me to send them in even though I told her I didn’t receive a score higher than 2, so I just did it to be safe. However, I’m pretty sure you don’t have to unless you received a score of 3 or higher.

@scarysqueek Are you sure about that? I e-mailed my admissions officer and she told me otherwise. I suppose I should do what my admissions officer tells me to.

I’ve gotten a few 2’s, a couple 3’s, and one 4, if I remember correctly. I didn’t even report them on my UC app and only used them for placement… Do I really have to send them??

okay well I e-mailed my advisor the other day about this and she just replied back to me saying that “it is always better to send all the related information and documents.”

So better safe than sorry.

I wouldn’t be penalized or anything if my admissions officer told me that it was not required, right?

@External, I guess you wouldn’t because you can always cite that admissions officer if something happens. I’m not sending my AP scores of 2’s and 1’s because of what this UCD Rep said on this forum.

if i send in my ap scores can i pick which ones to send in or do they send all the scores in?

You send all your scores in and I believe it costs 15 dollars for all your scores, regardless the amount.

Better safe than sorry, send your scores in if you got a 3 or better.

Just a heads up, the AP scores should take about a week even though they are done electronically.

it only takes a week?? i sent in my scores through collegeboard at least a month ago and the scores are still not showing up on the myberkeleyapp.

That is just from my personal experience from this last week, it may take longer, but a month sounds a little bit too long because its all done electronically. I would give UC Berkeley a call.
