<p>Alright, I'm sorta kinda considering maybe applying to a boarding / prep school for 2010-2011, but I'm not sure. Just want to see where you think I could go...</p>
<p>PSAT in 8th grade: 61CR, 61M, 65W, 187 total.
I play the tuba (~2 yrs.), but I don't own my instrument.
Top top 5% of class
Taking all available honors classes next year, and this year as well
Lowest grade this year has been a 96 in Honors English I and Honors Algebra I
Will be in JROTC/Marching band next year</p>
<p>Not sure how much of this matters, or how much I need, but there you are =P</p>
<p>You will def make it into Tier two schools (no doubt, unless they reject you like peddie did me… yield protection or something)… Your stats, at this point, are pretty amazing… Of course there are many others you need to try. If you want, you can PM me and I can get you started on a broad range of schools to look into.</p>

your academics seem extremely strong, but I honestly think you should get involved in a community service activity soon.</p>
<p>Do you have any athletic stats?
Definitely continue the tuba, and see if you can try out for things like All-City solo/ensemble contests stuff, because those kinds of things can help you a lot.
Also, playing the tuba well gives you a boost, because tuba isn’t NEARLY as common as violin/piano/clarinet/flute.</p>

<p>When I said that you will def get into T2, I in no way meant that you will not make it into T1. I sent you a PM of basically the best schools in the nation, I will send you a PM with some characteristics. </p>
<p>I actually wasn’t expecting anyone to think I had the stats for the top schools, and I was pleasantly surprised by being told I could make it into the second best schools :P</p>
