Just wondering, can high SAT IIs and AP scores make up an average SAT?

Just wondering, if my SAT IIs and APs scores can make up for my poor writing section..

Here are my scores
SAT - 690 CR/740M/570 W - Essay 10
ACT - 32 (28E/32M/31R/35S/27W - Essay-9)
SAT II:
Math II - 800
Chem - 780
US History - 760

AP:
Art History - 4
Calc BC - 5/ AB sub - 5
Chem 5
Eng lang - 5
Euro 4
Env Sci - 4
Psych - 5
US Hist - 5

Just send in your ACT and you’re fine!

I thought of that but they want SAT IIs and the SATs follow :S

■■■■■, how’d you get a 570 in writing with your 5’s in English and US history? But just send your ACT and the colleges will look at your ACT considering its higher.

Opps, sorry typo I only got a 4 in Eng Lang…:S

But yea, I apparently can’t proofread.. at all (according to the SATs)

I would not worry at all–you’re in to almost any college you want with those scores.

yea, those sat iis are freaking good

Hence, why I’m wondering if they can make up for my writing score… :P

Supposedly, colleges will not look at your SAT score since your ACT is (lots) better. You’re fine.

are you lying about your stats? i find it really odd that your writing scores are so low. i would apply to something science/ math related if i were you

I’m applying to engineering schools..
No not lying…I just typed that one AP score wrong…
And yea, I probably fall out of the range of normal overachievers…

u got 10 in your essay and still got a 570. Thats a lot of wrong questions and considering your aptitude ( u have a 4 in E lang AP) i suggest u do SAT 1 again. You deserve more in writing on the sat.

and if you are applying to engineering schools y didnt u do APs in physics??

^ Chelsea this thread is 3 yrs old, it appears the op is at MIT.
