<p>Say that I'm hispanic and I take the SAT II Spanish subject test. Will it look bad if I do, even if I balance it out by taking american literature or something? (Taking AP Literature right now). Also, I studied japanese for about a year... but i'm not -that- good to take SAT II Japanese test. Should I still put it somewhere on the application? any suggestions?</p>

<p>It will look good if you get a very good score -- I mean close to 800 -- on the SAT II Spanish because not many Native speakers have that good a command over the semantics of their language. However, I'm not sure about a medium score. Is there any other subject that you could take besides a language one?</p>
