I plan on doing lots more EC this year.

Hmmm, in-state or out-of-state? SAT IIs? Elaborate more on ECs? Hard to gauge if you don’t have the full stats..

Im n state.

I know UVA really doesn’t like to see Cs… but likely it was in your freshman year so it won’t hurt you as much as it could have. The fact that you’re taking all those classes at a comm. college junior year will look good, because it will show the adcoms that you’ve exhausted the class options available for you in HS. I’m guessing that you have indeed exhausted the options available to you and anytime you are taking a college or honors course it is because an AP course is not available?

Also don’t take word processing and computer info. systems senior year. That won’t help you, take some actual academic courses.

It’s tough to chance you because there are still so many variables for you. But if you can pull off straight As junior and senior years in the toughest curriculum available to you, do well on the SAT and/or ACT, and don’t screw up the essays and letter of recommendation… you’ll stand a good shot at getting in-state acceptance.
