The commonapp has a section for school forms, today was just talking with my counselor and she said that when she sends the secondary school report, my transcript, and test scores (SAT, subject tests, AP exams) are also sent. Well I've already sent all my things in, but I was wondering since the school reports that my counselor sends for commonapp have this information, do I still need to send transcripts through docufide, and SAT/subject test/AP exam scores through college board? If I don't then well, I could have save alot of money. Also, app and supplement both have due dates on common app, why doesn't the school forms section have one? Is it due the same day as the application then?

What's docufide?

It seems like your counselor attached a copy of your secondary school report along with your transcript, so there'd be no need to send a separate transcript. This is a question you should ask your counselor. But for a fact, SAT subject test scores need to be sent separately. AP exam scores should be sent at the end of senior year, not now. I'm not sure what you mean by your last question. Aren't school forms and supplement part of your application?

Most colleges (especially the kind that CC members tend to apply to) won't accept SAT scores that appear on your high school transcript; they require the official score reports from CollegeBoard and/or ACT. Ditto college transcripts, if you've taken any college courses; you must have them sent straight from the credit-granting institution.

As to deadlines, they're usually more flexible on the school forms than on the application and supplement -- because they know that you control the app and supp submissions, but school forms are somewhat out of your control.

@dchow08: Didn't you use docufide for getting your high school transcripts to college? It's a webstite where you pay $5 for every institution you send your transcript to. The request is sent in to your school and they send it to your institution. Some institutions download it electronically or they may reach the college by US mail, it's a completely separate website from the commonapp. That's why I was wondering about the deadline to send transcripts to schools. I think it's a good site, I just wish it was free :) Although there's a new program at my school that allows you to send transcripts for free but most of the colleges on that list are just Texas schools and ones from surrounding regions like Oklahoma and Louisiana.
