Just wondering...

Is it possible for someone with a degree from a state school to go to a tier 1/ivy for grad school? I know there are many variables, but at the these top grad schools, how many are not already in that loop?

Yes, it’s very possible to go from a state school to a tier 1 grad school.

I attended UCSD for undergrad, and got accepted with full funding to PhD programs at Berkeley, Stanford, Princeton, Cornell, UIUC, UT Austin, and Michigan. (MIT and Caltech rejected me, but for reasons other than because I went to UCSD).
