Justice for Angie

Or if they want to do something “kinky” sexually.

I never understood how men think they can get away with this defense (and apparently they can’t lately) when women wouldn’t dream of killing someone in this situation. (Well, rarely.)

Actually, one does hear of that and let’s not forget about Lorena Bobbit.

However, that’s not a similar category as this incident where this guy performed his actions out of hatred for someone he barely knew and was motivated by his biases - not emotions.

To ME any senseless death is a tragedy, but I disagree with the hate crime legislation. Yesterday two people in our town shot and killed 4 people simply for driving by their house. Apparently they just decided to shoot at the next two cars. Two of the four dead were children. By giving some ‘protected groups’ special rights I believe you are cheapening the tragic deaths of these innocent children. All men are created equal, right?

This year I coordinated an in-service for our nurses (my employer is a network of hospitals)
on making trangendered patients more comfortable. It was very enthusiastically received.
Thank goodness, many parts of the world are changing for the better.

cornmuffin—what a great idea to train the nurses. I did a training for my company for a returning employee. felt really good to see people open their minds and hearts.
