Juvenile thread - I hate the ACT

I just took my first "official" ACT practice test from the makers of the test.

Anyone else think the ACT is the worst experience of their high school careers? Seriously, I ENJOY the SAT compared to the ACT! Working on the same section for so long.... how do you people do it? I actually want to go take the SAT now just to make myself feel better about standardized tests.

Really? I actually like the ACT a lot more than the SAT. I couldn't stand having to skip around subjects; it made the test feel a lot longer.

I like the ACT better, actually. Once I finish, say, math, I'm done with math forever, and that's a happy feeling.

I like the ACT better than the SAT.... a lot better....

I did well on the ACT compared to the SAT. The SAT just seems like it's trying to trip you up, which isn't enjoyable at all.

30's the 75th percentile at a few top Ivies, but you'd really have to shine in all the other areas.

I thought the ACT was 10x easier than the SAT.

I liked the ACT MUCH better than the SAT.

a 30?? Perhaps you meant 25th percentile at an Ivy, i.e., 75% have higher scores? Cornell has the 'lowest' test scores, and it's mean is a 30.
