K-pop anyone?

^Columbia? Nice. Except I don’t know who AJ is, I don’t listen to male groups

^ same here bro

Haha yeah, I personally find it a little awkward, although I’m not against those who do.

I love KPop!!! I am no where close to being Korean… Even Asian alone! I did go to Japan this summer for a student exchange program! My favorite groups are SHINee (1st group ever listened too), 2NE1(going to NJ concert and I <3 Dara and Bom), Super Junior, Wonder Girls, Brown Eye Girls, B2ST, Huh Gak, Big Bang, B1A4, U-Kiss,Psy, Exo-K, Miss A, and many more. I used to like T Ara till that entire bullying scandal!! I hope there are some kpop clubs in the colleges I’m applying too!! I know how to read Korean some what (alphabet is really easy to learn)

Btw: I am a black male. Lol.

This thread is back!!!

^Yeah, the alphabet is really easy. I did a project on it last year in history and memorized the whole thing in like a day.

So I just heard “Like Money” by the Wonderful Girls.

Love it.

Has anybody seen the Pandora trailer with Nicole? Yum.

;_;

but you like like money so that’s kinda okay.

also; deschauneE, I am so damn jealous. I wanted to go to the 2NE1 concert in NJ. Which of course, begs the question of how i’d get there. It’s not even that far, only a few hours, but just far enough… ;-;

@Muta I can’t stand KARA lol. My latest obsession is TASTY, and their songs ‘You Know Me’ and ‘Buster’

Oppa gangnam style.

^Don’t know korean bro(I wish), translate?

@MutaRiSC Who’s Pip?

Wow.
I didn’t even notice the typo. LOL

Also, SPY by Super Junior is so awesome I can’t even take it.

Don’t know korean bro(I wish), translate?
^ It’s the name of the most viral korean song at the moment LOL. #1 on youtube charts atm. xD

It’s basically saying that Oppa (older brother-what girls call guys older than them) is gangnam style (gangnam is a place in Seoul where rich people are, to put it in really bad wording lol)

I don’t like Super Junior’s new songs.
I loveeed It’s You, Sorry Sorry, Monster, Happiness, etc but I don’t like any of their new stuff. xD

^ I never really liked Super Junior, I’ll listen to their new songs, but ‘SPY’ was really awkward for me.

Yeah, I’m a huge SJ fan, but Spy to me was kind of a let-down. The song itself is really catchy, but it’s weird, like a happy spy song?!? And the video isn’t any different from any other SM video that’s been made in the past few years. I miss their videos like “No Other” and “Marry U”, those types that actually had plots, no matter how basic.

Oppan gangnam style!

Yeah, I miss music videos with more substance.
But I think SPY has two sides to it, carefree then serious, to kind of represent the differing personalities an actual SPY might have. I dunno.

KRY is awesome. Their voices are perfect.

^ YES, KRY is amazing! Especially Kyuhyun, although I love the others. There’s this one youtube video of Kyuhyun that pretty much decided for me that he would be my bias: “kyuhyun sings better than original singer”. I’ve watched it like ten times and my jaw still drops every time. :D

As far as Asian Pop goes, I prefer J-Pop. The girls are prettier and their voices are more kawaii. I mean, look at Momoko Tsugunaga. WHO WOULDN’T WANT HER TO BE HIS WAIFU?

I can’t deny that Gee is the catchiest song ever written in the history of mankind though. The problem is, KPop girls generally look too plastic and therefore not my type. They copy the American stars too much.
