k-state

why is this school so highly regarded? does anyone of any knowledge about K-state?

Kansas State (like Kansas) no longer offers a 5-year BArch. Both programs have gone to a 5-year MArch (in the case of Kansas it is actually 5 1/2 year MArch).

We visited K-State last spring and really got a good feeling for the program. Got to meet several faculty and students, as well as the dean. Employers seem to look favorably on grads from both KSU and KU. KSU offers the option to consider landscape arch in the first year, which is a plus for students who may be on the fence between landscape and architecture.
The ability to receive a MArch instead of a BArch for the same amount of work is a plus, too.
