I'm an international student I wish to study at KAIST I have a GPA of 3.2 but not a good SAT score what are my chances of getting in KAIST??

KAIST is like Korean MIT, so if your GPA and SAT are subpar, then no.

Well it is much easier for international students to get into KAIST compared to local korean students

Still the Op 's gpa is too low.Kaist is super super rigorous and really brutal…I think one kid commiteed suicide lastvuear

Yes, I concur. The academic culture of KAIST is extremely focused and rigorous, as the Korean students who made it into the school are all extremely intelligent (according to my Korean friends at least) so I wouldn’t be surprised if there is pressure to succeed. Don’t recommend the school unless you figure you can adequately handle the work.

Exactly.
Also, their scholarship is totally dependent on your grade. I think the kid who died last year was because he was told to pay his scholarship back due to a drop in his grade

Hi there I also apply for KAIST this year. My SAT is only 1940 so I’m kinda worried.

@tuantr
- no hijacking please.
- 1940 is far from enough for Kaist

@paul2752 really? Cause Kaist tells its SAT average is 2185 @@

1940<2185
