Kaplan 2400 vs barrons 2400

Hey cc,

Just to give you a little background, I'm just wrapping up studying for the january sat. I am consistently getting 770's on both the math and writing. But low 700's on the cr. - - i've already exercised all the tests/passages in the bb btw..

I am going to go to a bookstore and try out one of those 2400 sat books. If anyone of you has already tried them, please post why you liked/hated them and if they are even worth buying in the first place.

Kaplan 2400 vs Barrons 2400. You decide.

Thanks :D

bump.

come on, someone please reply.

get barron’s. it has better content and won’t disappoint you. I really enjoy learning their strategies… so helpful and easy to remember. please refer to the many many other threads on this topic.

I agree with awalczak
kaplans is designed to disappoint for SAT I :c too easy lmao
and best of wishes to you for high score! :D

thanks guys. i just got the barrons a few hours ago.

I will let you know how the January exam goes!

yeah, barrons have alot of good SAT prep books, and kaplan is fine too, but im not sure how effective their strategies are when it comes to taking the actual SAT’s. :)

I don’t know if Princeton Review has a “2400” book, but I found their tests to be pretty good as well.

they both suck.

^

That’s pretty harsh.

If you are scoring 700+s, those won’t help. Those are very basic, targeting the normal 500s.

I suggest you just stick to doing more tests. CB tests are all over the internet, if you know where to look.

^gensis sssshhh you might get kicked out for that

Glad you got Barron’s, good luck to both of us in just 19 days!!
