Kaplan accurate?

Anyone know if the Kaplan 12 practice test tests are accurate or not? If not, is it easier or harder than the real thing?

Lol, there was just a thread made on this exact topic:http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/594166-kaplan-12-practice-tests-easier-harder.html

Search a little next time.

^ It's definitely not the real thing -- and that should be all that matters. However, I do hear Kaplan is easier..

mark my words, kaplan sucks. their practice tests and classes are useless for the top tier of scores, and some of their questions have simply absurdly justified answers. stick with the blue book.

what about gruber's guys?? is it accurate?

Gruber's is good, but it's a little harder than the real thing. 10 Real SAT's is very helpful if you can get ahold of it, though...

kaplan = **** trust me

I looked at the Kaplan 12 tests book at B&N today...the answer sheet of test #2 was misprinted and had a giant geometry diagram on each part of the answer sheet. Quality control's pretty bad, I must say.

Well, I dont know whether the Kaplan's 12 tests are easy or hard or useless. I just want to have some word on its Critical Reading Workbook, particularly the reading passages (I'd never mind the sentence completion part btw). Despite some (or many :-S) typos, this book provides you with, say, a lot of passages, and more importantly, detailed explanations of the correctness/incorrectness of EACH answer choice. I like the way the author puts himself in test-takers' shoes, approaches the questions like a real test-taker, and point out the common mistakes that we often make. Even more, he also indicates which answer is seemingly tempting but inaccurate.

Anyway, after reading some Kaplan's books, I found that only this particular part is worth reading. The others are not

^?
kaplan= fail.
