With the test next Saturday, I think it's time to start studying!

I haven't touched anything to do with USH since the AP test, and I've probably forgotten pretty much everything I learned in AP US...

I also don't think I have the patience to sit down for another round of AMSCO again.

Will a detailed study of the Kaplan book, along with the Sparknotes tests and two CB USH tests be enough for an 800, or should I really try to cram in AMSCO again? Thanks!

Will I be shooting myself in the foot by not cramming AMSCO? If it is a lot better than Kaplan, I’ll try sitting through the book one more time.

However, if Kaplan honestly has everything needed for the test, I won’t bother with AMSCO.

I own a Kaplan book and I’ve borrowed my friend’s amcso book for a week or so, but honestly i don’t see why amsco is better. i think the kaplan ap/sat us history prep books are definitely the best. the review material gives all the necessary information and i think the practice tests in kaplan were very similar to the actual ones. 3 people in our school received an 800, and including myself, we all used kaplan as our main review book. all those princeton review venerators received a lower score.

What’s the general opinion of Crash Course (REA) out there for the SATII USH test? I’m thinking about using this for review, and practicing on Sparknotes, Official CB tests, and another book. I just want to make sure my review book will suffice.

At this point, I think Kaplan would be a really good idea. I got that score using Kaplan the week before (used REA in class for the AP exam…but it was too big to go through the last week). I thought the review was really good, practice tests are good too! (even though i did horrible on the practice one i took)

OHHH! and I finished reading The Kite Runner this week! SOO GOOD. it was absolutely amazing. …at least I hope that’s what your username is about haha
