This (smart move) is just business.
Explanation: The questions are getting old and the students(kaplan customers) want new questions to practice more. When Kaplan sells (the old questions) to the public for free, Kaplan gives the public a good impression thus earning more customers.When KAPLAN releases the NEW version of the questions, more customers will rush to buy it because they think that KAPLAN takes good care of them.</p>

<p>I was just being half-sarcastic, half-true. I know that it is a marketing trick, but not many companies would give you 1700 free questions especially one that publishes materials for SAT prep every year.</p>
