Has anyone here done the online course for the ACT? How effective was it for you and how many points did you go up by (using this)?

Thanks in advance!

Kaplan is okay. I took the Kaplan Classroom, and I thought it was a waste of money. I mean, it did help me a little, but I think my score rose because I was learning more materials about the questions that the ACT asks on the test. I suggest you just buy The Real ACT book and PR ACT book. It'll save you a lot of money. :D

PR's book is better for ACT so if you do online, I would do theirs instead. Have you taken the real ACT yet? Definitely get the real ACT prep book as Visali suggested.

yes, I did use the real ACT, and it did help a little. I'm just an awful standardized test taker lol, and so I thought I'd do Kaplan to help me improve.

I took the Kaplan Class and it was worth the money my parents spent. My instructor was awesome, he was willing to stay after "class" and help me with the math problems I didn't know how to do, and I did a lot better on my Acts. I was scoring 18 on the practice tests, and on the real thing I got a 23. I know it isn't the best score but it did make a HUGE difference in college selections! It works!
