<p>It has been my experience that very few tend to take it at the center. I definitely recommend it though. You won’t have the comfort of home on test day. You must train your mind in a test day environment so that it performs at 100% in a test day environment.</p>

<p>10 questions wrong- score 10 VR
17 questions wrong- score 10 PS
16 questions wrong- score 10 BS</p>
<p>Which will place you in the 80th percentile.</p>
<p>7 questions wrong- score 11 VR
12 questions wrong - score 11 PS
12 questions wrong- score 11 BS</p>

<p>Because the MCAT is actually more difficult than the AAMC tests (by everyone’s account), I believe that Kaplan’s scale may be closer to the real thing.</p>
<p>I thought the MCAT was very similar to the last 3 AAMC tests (the only ones I did). The first four are supposed to be pretty different from the last four.</p>
<p>My daughter made a point of taking the test in all different locations - various libraries, etc. in order to experience different environments.</p>
