Kaplan sucks

It is a joke, that is the worst prep book ever. Barron's is the best.

Barrons and PR are good

LOL! I think this goes into personal opinion. I absolutely DETEST Barron's and PR's format just doesn't appeal to me. for some reason, what Kaplan does just makes sense for me :)

I don't think we can make any oversweeping generalizations.

your right....it is a joke.

Yea, especially their grammer section. ;)

kaplan's sat 2 books aren't as bad

PR's books (both the Cracking book and 11 practice tests book) are much better.

kaplan's sat books contain so many mistakes
they even have the wrong# of questions for CR!!

Where I come from... it's common knowledge that Kaplan is trashy and unreliable test prep.

Kaplan's never lead me astray. I used their books for SAT I and II prep, and I took their MCAT classroom course. I daresay I did swellingly in all three areas. :D It's a matter of personal preference.

my friend took the SAT 4 years ago or 3 years ago..b4 the new SAT and only used the Kaplan SAT Prep Book and got a 1560 out of 1600

but i dont like kaplan that much either

I took their course. Couldn't convince my asian parents it was a waste of money, so they flushed a grand down the drain so I can learn how to "fill in the numbers" or w/e.

Princeton Review and Kaplan are both bad.

Kaplan
from what ive heard
is the hardest prep which is why i hear its good
umm
ive used it
and its hard as hell
some of it at least

kaplans is really easy
i think your mixing it up with barrons
i got 800s on kaplan's cr but do poorly on barrons

I personally think Kaplan was very accurate of my abilities and always gave me a score within 10-20 points off of my actual score :)
