<p>So, I'm taking an SAT prep course from Kaplan, and I just took the first SAT dignostic, and my score went down 250 freaking points from what I got on my real, first SAT, WITHOUT practice. The only section that was at all similar to the real SAT was the math, the rest was ridiculous!
My question is, has anyone else had this experience, as I want to make sure that I haven't gotten worse at the SAT, because that would suck, lol.
Also, has anyone had success with Kaplan before, because now I'm really stressed out.</p>
<p>Many prep books and, I suppose, companies will deflate your practice score. This is partially so you do better than you think you would on the real SAT and (in the case of the companies) probably also has a lot to do with their “guaranteed 300 pt increases”.</p>
