Hey Guys,
Just received an email from Duke for Karsh finalist. Who else got the same email?
Me! Omg I’m so happy! Do you watch to chat about it?
Hey. Where you from?
*want
I do. I am so excited about this scholarship. It’s so cool
Being finalist means an implied acceptance, right?
I’m from Russia! I’d never even thought that I’d become a finalist, but here I am! What about you?
About acceptance… I think that yes. At least, there is a guy in one of the CC’s posts who claims that yes, we are already accepted.
How are you going to prepare for the interview?
HI i got it too! Can someone please tell me if ( God Forbid ) one does not get the scholarship in the end, that duke will accept them and meet all their demonstrated need?
I really hope so, but I’m not sure :^o
Yes. I think that they will take us in anyway. I don’t understand why they would reject their very best international candidates. Perhaps, there must have been a ‘YES’ from admissions committee before sending the applications for merit scholarship consideration. Supposedly, we are going to Duke people!!! It feels unreal.
Not taking any chance, we better prepare ourselves in the best way possible for the interview. When are you guys having your interviews?
I’m yet to get back to them. Has anyone filled the Candidate form? What all does it ask for?
I’m currently filling it in. It’s so cool! But two more essays:(
The second essay is quite hard to write, because it’s extremely personal
Hurry up
You have only three more days to complete it!
OMG GUYS THERE ARE TWO MORE AND THEY ARE 700 WORDS LONG
wtf…
I legit cant stop laughing OMG hahahaha…this is worse than the actual Duke App…
@SannanSaleh I know, right? I’ve been writing for three days straight, and I’m still not done.
And i don’t know when the questions will end cause they keep emerging
I asked if we are in. They said:
Being a finalist does indeed mean you have secured a spot in the class of 2021. Congratulations!
I look forward to speaking to you during your interview.
All the best,
Jenny
