kayaking @ college

Which is the best college with the most kayaking opportunities?

I can’t really say much about Kayaking, because I don’t do it, but I do just about every other outdoor activity.

But, WVU has TONS of exciting opportunities like white water rafting, kayaking, camping, hiking, ect. In fact, they have the WVU Adventure Club, that does all kinds of outdoors activities that I can’t even begin to name. I believe many of the activities can be counted as coursework, with your classroom being the outdoors!

The Adventure Club also has international trips including Patagonia, Peru, and Fiji. So while your classmates are having spring break at home or in Florida, you could be going on an expedition of Patagonian Chile -you can’t put a price tag on an experience like that.

If you’re an outdoorsman, WV is where you want to be. Hunting, Fishing, rafting, camping - you can do it all within 15 minutes of campus! It’s one of the reasons I went there, and it was great.

It also has awesome athletic programs (BCS Bowls, Final 4/elie 8’s), incredible student facilities and is known as being one of the most fun (partying) schools in the country.

Rock climbing, wildlife photography, survival training - it’s an experience you will take with you for the rest of your life!

I’d imagine schools in the west (Colorado, primarily) would be your best bet.
