Keane is coming to UC Berkeley. I'm excited. The only problem is, I'm too cheap to shell out money for tickets haha...who else is a fan?

You can always sit on the hill behind the Greek Theatre. You don't see anything, but you still get to hear great music! Ah... first roommate bonding event for me last year... listening to Jack Johnson.

I've never been to the hill, unlimitedx. You're saying there isn't any place from which you can see the band? What a bummer! I want some free shows, and don't want to pay the ridiculous monopoly Ticketmaster prices.

You might be able to see it if you go even higher... but I doubt it. The tall eucalyptus trees forms a pretty good wall, not to mention the tall fencing. I was able to see the top of the stage where the lights were hanging though.

DAMN YOU, TICKETMASTER! You suck.

really? Keane is really coming? when?

October 8.

The following week, Ladytron in SF.

Broken Social Scene in a week!

I only like a few of their songs...

there's also that facebook group trying to get people at cal to vote for keane on some website that allows the winning university the chance to get a keane concert at their school for free.but we have like 1% of the votes so that's probably not going to happen.
in regards to the hill - when i went up there for the tom petty concert you could hear the music great but you couldn't see a thing.

Ooooo cool.

I like their new album. Atlantic, Crystal Ball, etc. unlimitedx, maybe you'd like to show me the hill behind the Greek Theater.

Cant those of us in Bowles watch it from the roof?

Stern has a view, get busy...

hmm, do you guys know how to watch Matisyahu for free? It's in the Berkeley Community Theatre. (Someone told me the community theatre is not worth it.) Tickets are 40 bucks.

Youtube?...

Tightwad Hill! We parked up near there once when we saw Wilco and they were actually making people leave, but hopefully you won't have any problems.

Keane blows.

You blow...
haha

But yeah, I'm a damn Anglophile. I heart Lostprophets, Keane, Blunt, Muse, all that British music.

It would be a dream come true if Muse came to the Greek Theatre...

muse was just in sf, actually, and muse will be at the download festival (along w/ the yeah yeah yeahs, the shins, and others) in mountain view. it's in late september, i think?
