Kebree

you have to have separate cashmere sweaters for separate places of the body. 2 of every color for over the shoulders. 2 of every color to wear. 2 of every color to have hanging in your closet in case someone stops by to check. etc. etc.

they add up. plus, its extra for the monogramming

hahahahahhahahaha funny kid u would fit in at my school haha. average income is 300k how sad. and its a public school. god dammit my school is retarded. i definitely fall into the less than 100k category

i think my most expensive piece is a 500 leather jacket, my mum threw away our furs in a bout of peta-ness (evillll, really poor behavior of her) before i was old enough to stop her. i'm not sure how much my ferragamo boots would be worth, though, since they were my grandmum's from the 70s.

and no, e, you're not screwed socially - if anyone really chooses friends based on clothes they're not worth it, seriously - i know it's cliche but it's so true.

forgot monogramming and forgot over-the-shoulders... silly me! how essential

Haha, Encomium, ditto here...I was reading this thread thinking, "Well, um...I hope this doesn't represent the avg. Princetonian's wardrobe..."
But then I remembered that a pretty large % are on financial aid, so I doubt they'd be wearing loads of Lacoste...

well Kebree, will you be sporting the artsy getup?

i return from a shower and zant and enco take over the world. what is this

its a shame that princeton decided to get involved in that financial aid garbage.

if you can't pay your way....go to community college - thats where you belong anyways.

encodeschia POWER [insert theme song]

haha encodeschia ur theme song is Im not a girl, not yet a woman :-D

lol let's get philntex to compose one for us, provided that he isn't too angry that we surpassed him.

LOL shrek, so true.

enco: Nah, not artsy =) I don't really fit the "artsy persona," I guess.
Normal, most likely....jeans/t-shirt/fitted jacket, etc. Just not $$$--I'd rather spend money on art supplies and travel

kebree! uve been gone all for a long time haha

The epitome of "cultural elitism", he is a frequent CCer - terse, sarcastic comments being the trademark of his posts. Ilcapo is intensely proud of his White Anglo-Saxon Protestant background, and, if accepted to the school of his dreams, would no doubt bring a whole new meaning to Princeton's already 'exclusivist' image. Apart from promoting his obsession with Ralph Lauren attire, Ilcapo also enjoys providing fashion tips for the masses:

Ilcapo is not one to conform to moderation nor convention - this narcissist and avid Kerry supporter is quick to his flaunt his "Anti-Financial Aid" doctrine as well as his fascination with bulimia.

But don't be fooled by his "hardcore" exterior: After receiving extensive help on his essay from the Parents' Forum, Ilcapo finally managed to pull of a tear-jerking rendition of "What it means to be a Man" in 250 words!

Loved by some, misunderstood by many - regardless of varying opinions, it cannot be denied that CC would not be as "interesting" a place without him.

oh man good one gianievve - props to you :-D well written well said. u have captured the essence of ilcapo

hahah i just returned from my 12 hour day...what a wonderful present.

you have captured the beauty of my mind, body, and soul.

joss stone reference?

ooh, encomium, you are smarter than i.

that was not a reference, but i like it, nevertheless.
