Keep or Drop - AP Psych

I'm currently a junior at a small school and struggling with what to do regarding my AP Psychology class. The class is very difficult for me, especially because a LOT of the work is just textbook reading and studying rather than in-class leaning (as in, the teacher won't even mention subjects in class, just give us handouts and then test us). I'm also not very good at science - I'm more LA (and I plan to apply to an LA college), and it thus takes me a very long time to grasp the concepts. I feel like my time could be much better spent on EC's, SAT prep, and classes that pertain to an LA major (or mabye just having a life), but I'm scared to drop down to 2 AP's when it seems like so many other people are taking 4-5 in the junior year. Would it substantially hurt my chances of getting in to one of the following schools if I dropped the class? Would it hurt my chances if I got a B or C in the class rather than an A? Any input is appreciated.

if it's really stressing you out and you are not enjoying the class then you should just drop it. i mean college is very important but you should only put yourself through so much to get accepted into an ivy league or whatever.. once you go deeper into the college process you will probably realize there are many other schools that would be good fits for you, and dropping one AP psych class will not ruin your college career. if it were like the first week of school i would say try it out, but its far enough in that if you really can't stand it you shouldn't sacrifice your happiness in junior year, which IMO is the toughest year of high school
