Keeping a schedule/calender/task list?

Does anyone keep a schedule up to date, does it work well for you

I do, sometimes. We have "agenda books" at our school that have a little class-by-class schedule for each day and it's basically our hall pass. I almost always fill mine out with the homework for that night and write down when are tests/quizzes/whatever. There's room in it for out-of-school stuff too, and it's convenient to have everything in the same place.

Our school makes us keep "minder binders" (so clever, yeah?). They're actually pretty useful. Although I always slack off with its upkeeping as the end of the school year approaches.

yup i get agenda books too(little daily planner) it's good for remembering test dates, homework etc. But it's too small for out of school stuff.
Hence, I have another one for my work/volunteer/meetings all that kind of stuff.

Need to keep organized. Especially for junior year ;)

I received a planner book at the beginning of last year, but never used it. I wouldn't write down homework assignments unless it's for textbook reading or something. I'm a little unorganized.

Yeah. I have most of my days scheduled out even.. mostly in my head. I like routines :) but making sure there is some flexibility in it is good. Like unless something else along these lines comes up, this is what I'm doing. And stick to it and you get everything you need to do done :) a planner helps w the bigger things you don't want to forget for sure... yeah

I use Google Calendar.

And yes, it works well. I tried keeping a schedule in a physical planner, but I never checked it. I use Google Calendar and set it as my home page...and I use the internet like 24/7.

^I'm paranoid about putting my schedule on the internet haha
Internet = no privacy
everrr

my school supplies one and i find it very handy. I write down all of my homework and highlight it once I'm finished. I also have an abnormal obsession with making to do lists.

I bought one, well my mother did and it's itty bitty but when I can remember to open it to read it and write down what ever it is I need it's great!

Never, really.

I make extensive, expansive, terrifying to-do lists to warn myself how much I need to do
I then throw away the list
but it busts the procrastination muscle pretty well

Planner with daily homework + calendar on my wall with days off from school, birthdays, SAT stuff, etc. The planner also has all of this copied into it, but it's mostly a day-to-day picture, while the calendar gives me a general outline for the month.

It's not like I put my SSN in my schedule. :P
What would I have to worry about?

For one, I set my schedule to private. And two, if someone could somehow access it, so? I put stuff like errands and homework on there. What would anyone do with that? lol

^Like I said, I'm just paranoid. I don't want anyone to know my to-do stuff and plans w people, etc. There's nothing bad and I know it doesn't matter but it's just my weird paranoia thing :) I have the same paranoia with this site too actually... but I get over it hahah

I'm required to have one for AVID, but I've actually really grow to be dependent on it. I freaked the other afternoon when I thought I lost it, lol

I was addicted to Google Calendar this summer, but it's become a pain to get online when I have to check something. In college I plan to get one of those big whiteboard ones, along with keeping my small agenda :)

Me too! I have a planner that I use to write down homework, tests, meetings etc and I freak out if I don't have it. I seriously feel lost at school if I forget it at home :D

Every year I try, but I always end up losing and not using it. Usually I can keep everything organized mentally though, so I don't really need one. ;]

I have a planner which has my daily activities.

The day before something is due, I write in the book with a big black box and an arrow pointing down.

The day of something that isn't a big deal (like a club), that won't need prep, I write it in a certain margin.

I use a schedule on Google and a long-term to-do list

Lol, funny how I talked about my agenda book like I actually use it, in my previous post. Because.. haven't used it.. all this year.. lol. Anyway, if I DO actually get around to making a "schedule" or whatever, it's just in expo marker on my mirror in my bathroom, lol. Which is a bit more effective, I think.
