Keeping energized!

School starts pretty early in the morning, and by the time it's noon, I'm completely whooped. My lunch begins at around 11:15. Is there anything I can do to keep from being so exhausted at the end of the day?

I have a decent bfast, a decent lunch... what am I doing wrong?

Anyone else have this "haze?"

Lucky, my lunch is at 12:20, two periods later than I'm used to. Argh.

Well, definitely bring a snack you can eat quickly in between classes, like a granola bar or a piece of fruit or whatever you like. Also, gum helps, because it distracts you and tastes good so you can forget your hungry, if that's why you feel drained.

What time do you got to sleep/wake up? What time does school start/end?

If you don't sleep much, make sure you get quality sleep. Get an eye mask, one thats like a pouch of herbs... For your eyes. It refreshes you and helps you sleep. I know you're probably a guy and that seems fruity... But I get waaay better sleep when I use mine. Also, don't eat sugary breakfast cereals and oatmeals, something with fiber and protein will fill you up for longer.

As a last resort, try 5-hour-Energy. It's expensive, but if you have sports practices/ECs at the end of the day and such, you might need it. It's not bad for you, because it's all vitamins and stuff. My mom is a all-natural nut and she drinks the stuff!

I sleep from 10:30-6:30 and go to school from 7:30 to 2:00.

I'm going to try eating a crapload of protein during bfast, a nice snack, and drink some coffee with my lunch.. hopefully it'll work, but we'll see. It's just so hard when I'm siting in the final period and just want to sleep so badly.

The eye mask sounds like a pretty good idea - I sometimes have a hard time relaxing at night.

And the 5-Hour Energy just doesn't do it for me... During exams last year I needed to stay up for about four more hours, and I was feeling a little tired, so I drank one (and a red bull!) and fell asleep about an hour later, hahah.
