Keeping Grades up for Rest of Year:Transfer.

Ok, so I am sure this topic comes up alot, but I am just curious how good your grades should be after being accepted for the remainder of your time at your present institution. I ask only because they say in their deposit letter that they want the grades from your final semester (or in my case, trimester) and that they should be up to par with what you had been getting. I haven't been doing as well this term, should i worry?

How far have they dropped? If you dropped from all As to a few Bs, no worries; if you became a straight C/D/F student all of a sudden, you might need to be concerned.

I don't think you should worry about not being accepted...but I'm sure they will effect your GPA if your transferring.

BILDO - No, transfer credit does not affect your GPA. I checked on this earlier this year because one of the classes I was taking at our local university I was close to having a B in... and even an A - at Rice is a 3.67.
