<p>I experienced the same thing while trying to pay for Syracuse's application. This was before the deadline as well.</p>

<p>i was having the same error. as of three minutes ago, my payments finally got through. think it's worth trying to explain to the colleges?</p>

<p>Same thing happened to me for the CMU payment. It eventually worked at like 12:20 AM.</p>
